JHS Class of 1943 Scholarship

***Submission Deadline: Friday, April 19, 2019***

The Jeffersonville High School Class of 1943 has established a scholarship fund through the Greater Clark County Schools Educational Foundation. The JHS Class of ’43 is awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a JHS senior for the current school year. Applications will be reviewed by the JHS Scholarship Review Committee and the scholarship award will be based on academic excellence and financial need. The Review Committee is a selection of teachers who will review the scholarship applications. Upon providing proof of registration to the Greater Clark County School Educational Foundation, scholarship monies will be paid to the institution the student will be attending the first semester of his/her freshman year.

Criteria used for determining scholarship awards:

SAT and ACT test scores

GPA, Class Rank and Class Schedule


Completion of the scholarship application

Leadership in the following areas:

Work Experience

Community Service

Honors and Awards

Extracurricular Activities
